Easy to reach, Tinos is 20-25 minutes by boat away from nearby Mykonos (Arrival at Mykonos International Airport) or alternatively, 2 hours by speedboat or 4 hours by conventional ferries from the port of Rafina (the closest port to Athens International Airport – 30min.) and the port of Piraeus so plan your travel in advance with a website or app like: https://www.ferryhopper.com/
A Helipad also offers even easier proximity by helicopter.
Ferries depart regularly from the port of Tinos to the main ports of Athens, Piraeus and Rafina and to the rest of the Greek Islands, offering visitors easy access and the potential for island hopping in the Cyclades.
Car Rental is easy on the island and we can provide you with a link to book online once you confirm your booking with us. Scooters and motorbikes may also be rented to those holding a specific license. If you are from outside the EU, please ensire you have an International Drivers License with you.
Spring : April - June : Expect temperatures ranging from 16 to 28 celcius with light or no wind, sometimes rain
Summer : July - August : Expect temperatures from 24 to 35 celcius with strong winds in August.
Autumn : Sept to November : Expect temperatures from 16 - 28 celcius with some light winds or none at all. Sometimes rain in Oct/Nov
